MAIN EVENTS

TOWER SIEGE

Event Floater 1 (Floater means First Come, First Served – No Heat Schedule)
AMRAP in 5 Minutes

Sandbag will move from ground to top of tower via team hand-off.

  1. Team member 1 lifts the bag from the ground and hands it through the window to Team Member 2 waiting inside the tower. Team member 1 then climbs through the window and takes the position of team member 2.
  2. Team member 2 takes sandbag up the three flights of stairs and transfers sandbag to team member 3.
  3. Team member 3 drops the bag out the 2nd story window of the tower, then sprints down the flights of stairs, exits the window on the first floor of the tower, picks up the bag from ground and then transfers the bag through the window to the waiting team member from step 1.
  4. Continue in this manner – alternating positions until time is called. Rounds and the last sandbag transfer location will be used for score.

TOWER 2 : BLOCK AND TACKLE

Event Floater 1 (Floater means First Come, First Served – No Heat Schedule)

  1. Max Weight lifted to the top platform of Tower 2 via rope and pulley system.
  2. 10 Sandbags located 50 yards from Tower.
  3. Team will coordinate amongst themselves how to move the Sandbags across the field to Tower 2, load the barrel with bags, hoist it to the upper level of Tower 2, and unload into the tower.
  4. Unload Tower 2 in its entirety via rope and barrel.
  5. Team may reload the tower as many times as possible in the allotted time.
  6. Score will be the accumulated max load lifted into Tower 2 in 5 Minutes.

ASSAULT ON FORT KING

Event WOD 1 (Scheduled by Heats)

The staging field outside of Fort King will be completely set up with an 1800’s Era Garrison set up. Field tents, sleeping racks, fire holes, soldiers, chuck wagons, hay bales and more.

  • 400M Burden Run through woods with Team then:
  • As a three person team you will perform various movements through a lane that will include Garrison Equipment and numerous obstacles – anything in your lane you must snake in and out across the field and back.
  • Moving Up the Field: Section 1 as a team you will low crawl dragging your burden with you. Section 2 as a team you will bear crawl dragging your burden with you. Section 3 you will drag one of your teammates and your burdens.
  • Moving down the Field you will low crawl dragging your burden in Section 3, bear crawl dragging your burden in Section 2, and once again drag one of your team members and your burdens through Section 1.
  • Your Team will now Relay Sprint (with your burdens) to the top of the field.
  • Finally – once all your team completes the relay, your team will sprint 400m back to the start/finish line.Burden weights:Beginner F/M 10/30
    Intermediate F/M 30/60
    Advanced F/M 60/90This will be a “live fire” scenario – muskets and cannons will be firing all around you. And the soldiers love “new guys.”

CLOSE QUARTER CHAIN RACES

Event WOD 2 (Scheduled by Heats)

  • As a Team perform 30 Deadlifts with the chain.
  • As a Team Walking Lunge chain to the middle of the field.
  • As a Team perform 20 Back Squats with the chain.
  • As a Team Walking Lunge chain to the end of Field.
  • As a Team perform 10 Front Squats with the chain
  • As a Team carry chain back to start. Any style carry.
  • Athlete 1 drags chain to middle of field and back
  • Athlete 2 drags chain to middle of field and back
  • Athlete 3 drags chain to middle of field and back
  • Time will be the last team member across the finish line.

MINI EVENTS

Each mini event will be scored separately by time, reps or weight completed like any WOD.

Mini Events are first come, first served. No Heat Schedule. Mini Events will also close one hour before podiums. Announcements will be made on the field day of the event.

FARMER CARRY

Scored for fastest TIME.
50′ down, 50′ back. Drops permitted
Burlap Sacks filled with Sand – for time relay with team
Equipment: 2 Burlap Sacks per Female and Male Divisions filled with SandBags to appropriate weight.

WEIGHTED PULL

Scored for fastest TIME.

Rope connected to wood sled (Barrel) drug thru sand (involve Team)
Equipment: One Barrel, One pull rope, connection from pull rope to barrel. Team member on barrel
Beginner: Barrel stationary drag
Intermediate: Barrel w/ Team Mate rider stationary drag by other team mates
Advanced: Barrel w/ Team Mate rider stationary drag by other team mates

YOKE CARRY

(Zercher) – equipped with swinging sandbags
Scored for fastest TIME.
50′ down, 50′ back
Log. Loaded by Team members to Zercher position, alternate as needed and relay 3 rounds drops permitted and team can help reload.
Equipment: 1 Log per weighted male and female divisions
Beginner: F/M 65/105

Advanced: F/M 130/250

GROUND TO SHOULDER / FRONT SQUAT COMPLEX

WEIGHT TO HEIGHT

Score will be TOTAL WEIGHT LIFTED BY TEAM
1 bag per division, 1 barrel set to height
Burlap sacks with sand
Equipment: 1 burlap bag filled to appropriate weights with sand bags (loaded and unloaded by athlete, 1 barrels
Athlete 1 will load bag, lift to top of barrel, add weight and lift to top of barrel until their weight series is complete. Then Athlete 2, then Athlete 3 until all 3 athletes have done one round. Team can help load and unload sack.
Team may load start weight before clock starts.
Beginner:

Relay
All team members will successfully complete a round. After which any combination of team members can continue to load bags and complete reps inside the time cap.
